  • "Wake Me Up"
Feeling my way through the darkness
    Guided by a beating heart
I can't tell where the journey will end
But I know where to start

They tell me I'm too young to understand
They say I'm caught up in a dream
Well life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes
    Well that's fine by me

    [2x]
So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
    And I didn't know I was lost

I tried carrying the weight of the world
But I only have two hands
Hope I get the chance to travel the world
But I don't have any plans

Wish that I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life's a game made for everyone
    And love is the prize

    [2x]
So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
    And I didn't know I was lost

    Didn't know I was lost
    I didn't know I was lost
    I didn't know I was lost
    I didn't know (didn't know, didn't know)

    News:

Avicii Remixes His Own Single: Listen To The Swede’s Overhaul Of “Addicted To You”

Why pay someone to remix your track when you’re one of the biggest DJs in the world? That’s the question Avicii obviously pondered before deciding to reinterpret Addicted To You, by himself. The Audra Mae-voiced floor filler is the Swede’s follow up to mega-hit Hey Brother  and is already causing major chart damage internationally due, in part, to the extraordinary lesbian bandit-themed video.
So how different is the DJ’s new version of “Addicted To You”? Not very. The Avicii by Avicii remix is more of an extended mix than a complete overhaul. It’s longer and the vocals sit differently in the mix but it’s fairly comparable to the original. After all, the track was already custom made for clubs — so why ruin what is clearly a winning formula? Listen after the jump.
